Lost and abandoned america

This abandoned spot in Hamburg, New Jersey looks like something out of a dark fairytale. What was once a magical and bright children’s attraction is now a mysterious and dilapidated structure shrouded in ivy. This fantastical castle was built in 1928, and inspired by classic fairytales like "Hansel and Gretel," "Humpty Dumpty" and "Sleeping Beauty. It became a popular tourist destination in the 1930s, with family coming from miles around to explore the whimsical castle.Sadly, the park began to slip into disrepair in the 1980s.In an attempt to breathe new life into the property, the castle was transformed into a nightclub, and eventually a haunted house. In 2004, it was purchased by New Jersey resident Frank Hinger. He planned to restore the park to its former glory, but the property turned out to be too expensive to maintain and repair. Today, a real estate developer owns this strange location. The developer has promised to restore the castle, but so far nothing has been done. Even after decades of neglect, its candy-coated towers and bright colors still inspire the imagination.
